Singles or boosters: choose by your goal

Bilbo, Luckwearer // Burglar's Plot - The Hobbit (Uncommon) [HOB-32] — Moxcards

Singles and boosters answer different needs. Singles let you select an exact card, while boosters provide a random discovery experience and support certain play formats.

Completing a deck list

Write down missing cards, quantities and acceptable versions. If gameplay is your priority, consider different suitable printings. Compare the full purchase cost, including shipping, rather than looking at each card in isolation.

Opening for enjoyment

A booster can be a gift, a shared activity or the beginning of a collection. Set the budget for that experience before opening. A desirable card being part of a set does not mean it will appear in your purchase.

Combine both approaches

You can open a few boosters, then use singles to fill the remaining gaps. Keep an updated checklist to avoid unnecessary duplicates. On a Moxcards product page, always check the selected variant: language, condition and finish are part of the exact item you are ordering. A reference image helps identify the card, but the variant details determine which version is offered.
