Verified on 4 October 2026. Elestrals has confirmed the new timetable and full participation structure for the Divine Champions: Snowshade Prerelease. Selected stores can run events from 9 to 18 October, one week before the expansion’s worldwide release on 16 October.
Snowshade Prerelease dates at a glance

The date matters because Snowshade was originally planned for 2 October. In its 31 August timeline update, Elestrals moved the release back by two weeks and shifted the Prerelease window. The publisher said the delay came from accumulated logistics and production-queue pressure rather than a manufacturing defect or product-quality concern.
A different kind of Sealed event
This Prerelease does not start from a conventional pile of loose booster cards. Each player chooses one of two products: the Hades VS Demeter Double Starter Deck or the Athena VS Apollo Double Starter Deck. From the cards inside that chosen product, the player builds a 40-card main deck and a 20-card Spirit deck.
Each Double Starter Deck contains four Divine Champions: Snowshade booster packs and two ready-to-play decks. Each of those decks is already structured as a 40-card main deck plus a 20-card Spirit deck. This gives newcomers a playable base while still leaving meaningful construction choices for experienced Casters.
Stores may use an adjusted rules structure, so players should confirm the exact format, start time and registration process with the organiser before travelling.
The participation promo and availability
Every registered attendee who takes part is due to receive an exclusive Textured Full Art Stellar Morphrost Champion of Hades, Draco Form promo card. The official announcement also warns that availability is limited and priority is first come, first served. Registering early is therefore more important than simply arriving on the day.
What European players should check
The official location list currently includes events in the United Kingdom, Finland and the Netherlands, alongside stores in the United States, Canada and Australia. No French venue appeared on the published list when checked on 4 October. That does not prove that France will never receive an event, but it means French players should use the live event locator and verify any shop announcement directly before making travel plans.
The official source is written in English and does not publish a complete language breakdown for every region. Product language should therefore be confirmed with the participating store rather than assumed from the event country.
Why this Prerelease is useful
For players discovering Elestrals, the Double Starter structure lowers the usual Sealed-deck barrier: two functioning lists, Spirits and boosters are gathered in one event product. For established players, the interesting question is how far to depart from those ready-to-play shells while maintaining a coherent Spirit curve and a legal 40/20 split.
