CHIVALROUS XIII [EX-13] arrived for the English Digimon Card Game on 2 October 2026. This Extra Booster is built around the Royal Knights, but its official product page also gives players something unusually practical: named upgrade paths for all thirteen members, plus three complete recommended deck compositions.
What is inside EX-13?
Bandai lists 81 card types: 22 Common, 20 Uncommon, 18 Rare, 12 Super Rare, three Ultimate Rare, two Secret Rare and four Special cards. A booster contains 12 cards and a display contains 24 boosters. The official US MSRP is $4.99 per booster; that price does not establish a French or European retail price.
The set’s headline treatment is a group of thirteen alternate-art Royal Knights with a gold-glow finish. Bandai also states that each box includes an alternate-art card. That is a box-level promise, but the page does not publish pull rates for a specific Knight or guarantee a particular rarity beyond that statement.
The two Secret Rares are Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode (EX13-076) and Omnimon: Merciful Mode (EX13-077). These are not merely showcase names: the official page connects each to a detailed recommended list, which makes them useful anchors for understanding what EX-13 is designed to support.
Three official starting points
The first list is an ADVENTURE/Omnimon build. Its plan develops multiple Tamers and colours before using Assembly to reach Omnimon: Merciful Mode. EX13-073 Tai Kamiya & Matt Ishida supplies card flow and gives high-level ADVENTURE Digimon Rush and Blocker, while Merciful Mode scales with the number of colours among the player’s Digimon and Tamers.
The second is Imperialdramon. EX13-070 Davis Motomiya & Ken Ichijoji supports digivolution and DNA Digivolution, while Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode attacks opposing stacks by returning digivolution cards before battle. The official list combines EX-13 cards with earlier Veemon, Wormmon, Paildramon and Imperialdramon pieces rather than presenting the booster as a self-contained deck.
The third list is Mamemon, led by EX13-063 PrinceMamemon and EX13-059 BigMamemon. It leans on playing multiple Mamemon, granting Blocker and Guard, and turning deletion effects into pressure and board development. This is the clearest reminder that EX-13 is broader than its Royal Knights headline.
What buyers should verify
EX-13 is an English-version product with European distributors listed on the official site. A dedicated French-language printing, a France-specific price and local allocations were not announced on the product page checked on 4 October 2026. Players should also distinguish the 81 base card types from alternate-art or design variants.
