Forbidden Door is coming to the English Edition of Weiß Schwarz on 4 December 2026. The official product line combines a 100-card booster set with separate AEW and NJPW Trial Decks, giving the wrestling crossover both a ready-to-play entry point and a larger pool for deck building.
Forbidden Door: the confirmed release details
- Game: Weiß Schwarz English Edition
- Release date: 4 December 2026
- Products: one Booster Pack, one Forbidden Door (AEW) Trial Deck and one Forbidden Door (NJPW) Trial Deck
- Sale region: the official booster page lists worldwide sale
- French-language edition: not announced on the official pages checked on 4 October 2026
- Announcement date: not displayed on the official product pages
This distinction matters for European players: a worldwide English Edition release confirms the product’s commercial reach, but it does not establish a separate French translation. Local preorder dates, prices and shop allocations are also not specified by the cited publisher pages.
What is inside the booster product?
Bushiroad lists 100 card types plus 115 parallel types. The published rarity breakdown includes 10 RR, 25 R, 28 U, 28 C and nine CR cards in the regular pool, alongside a substantial parallel range: two AGR, seven SSP, six SP, nine RRR and 91 SR.
Each booster contains eight cards. A display holds ten packs, and a carton contains twelve displays. First Edition displays include one of 20 exclusive PR cards—ten normal versions and ten parallel versions. A separate three-display purchase campaign offers one PR pack containing one random card from seven special PR types, while supplies last.
The publisher also confirms two hand-signed autograph cards and hot-stamped signed cards featuring 14 wrestlers. Those are collectible variants, not a guarantee in every pack or display.
Two Trial Decks: AEW and NJPW
The AEW and NJPW Trial Decks release on the same day. Each deck product contains 20 card types plus 20 parallel types. Every 50-card deck is guaranteed to contain two shiny cards drawn from its parallel pool: 18 TDP cards and two TDSP hot-stamped autograph cards. A display contains four decks, and a carton contains eight displays. A rules sheet, playmat and deck manual are included.
The two decks create a clear starting choice: begin with one wrestling roster, then expand with the booster. The official pages state that Forbidden Door cards use the FD/ card-number prefix, which is the key reference for Neo-Standard compatibility within this title.
What remains to be announced
The official pages confirm the release structure, card counts and promotional campaigns. They do not announce a French-language printing, European allocations, store-level preorder timing or retail prices. Those details should be checked with regional distributors and participating shops rather than inferred from placeholders.
