Information checked on 4 October 2026. Bushiroad’s English Cardfight!! Vanguard site lists Booster Pack 16: Parallactic Dawn (product code VGE-DZ-BT16) for release on 30 October 2026. The set connects the current card game with two manga storylines and a separate collaboration, while supporting all six standard nations.
Parallactic Dawn release date and edition
Bushiroad first confirmed the date on 5 June 2026. The official English product page now presents 30 October as the release date for this English-edition product. A French-language edition, a French release date and a country-by-country distribution list are not announced on the cited pages; players should therefore check local stores rather than assume identical availability everywhere.
The six featured nations are Dragon Empire, Dark States, Brandt Gate, Keter Sanctuary, Stoicheia and Lyrical Monasterio. This broad coverage is important: Parallactic Dawn is not advertised as a single-nation side product, so players across the main Standard nation structure have a reason to follow the reveals.
What is confirmed inside the booster
The product page currently lists 125 card types: 123 new types and two reprints. The base rarity breakdown is 20 RRR, 26 RR, 25 R and 54 C. Bushiroad also lists 120 parallel types, 79 Special Feature Card types and two Token Card types. These totals are explicitly marked as being under development and subject to change, so they should be treated as the current official specification rather than a guaranteed final collation.
Each booster contains seven random cards, while a display contains 16 boosters. The official page does not publish a guaranteed pull rate for individual treatments, so the number of listed parallel or special types should not be read as a promise about a specific box.
Comics, animation and the Like a Dragon collaboration
The set features units from the Parallactic Dawn comic, described by Bushiroad as a prequel to the TV animation CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez Parallactic Clash. It also includes units associated with the spin-off comic Cardfight!! Vanguard Skyride.
A separate group of collaboration cards draws on the Like a Dragon series. Bushiroad confirms the collaboration, but the product page does not provide a complete card-by-card checklist in its main specification. Until the official card list is complete, it is safer to separate confirmed themes from assumptions about characters, rarities or deck strength.
What players should watch before 30 October
The useful next milestone is the full official card database. Once it is available, players will be able to distinguish new support from the two reprints, verify nation and grade distribution, and assess deck changes using actual card text. For collectors, the same database will be the reliable way to map base cards, parallels and Special Feature variants without confusing rarity counts with pull rates.
